Putting this up in the public place in case someone from FCB is crusing by.
Bill Smith, aka swuaneered pressed away today. He was local to us and in fact went to school with my mother in law.
We first met at FCB gathering number one at Hales Bar here in TN. He was a 'revenuer' back in the day, chasing people around that were running mooneshine. Was funny he told us about that part of his life while we were passing around some very good moonshine that lakebiker, aka Ron Melton, had brought to the party.
He loved to completely rebuild boats. We saw each other occasionally around town and He and fitz lived close by and saw each other fairly often.
He had been running on borrowed time for an extended period and he knew it and was ok with it. Heart. He understood. I think he was in the 87 years old range.
Tight lines Bill, tight lines.

Peace be with you Bill.
I recognize the name but not much else about him. He must not have posted very much over on FCB.
I also looked through the members list and couldn't find him. Doesn't mean he wasn't a member. Could be that he decided to leave and pulled his plug. That would have deleted his existence from the site.
Anyway, it's sad when people pass. There's always someone who the loss effects.
